Brazilian equipment manufacturer Lukatec has introduced its new 360 Builder, which combines three stations in a single machine: an RPX cushion gum extruder, an automatic tread applicator, and a roller/stitching unit.
The three-tire turntable enables all three machines to operate at the same time, rotating from position one through position three. Key benefits of this are greater productivity, lower labor costs and simultaneous operations. The machine also incorporates a cloud connection with plant management software.
According to Lukatec, the system, which is designed to be modular, can be assembled in the most suitable way for the production process and to meet the needs of the retreader.
