The gantry is a cartesian manipulator with three main axes (X, Y, Z) and a gripper device installed on the Z axis, a device made by three motorized expanding sectors, able to handle a single tire or a 2,050mm-high stack.
Two gantry robots can share the same area. If maintenance is required, a robot can be moved to the maintenance zone while the other continues working. Operators can carry out maintenance in complete safety in the fenced off area.
