The new Volkswagen Passat line will be fitted with 215/60 R16 Falken ZIEX ZE914A tires. Two options will be available for fitment including the ZIEX ZE914A summer tire and the ZIEX ZE914A Ecorun rubber, which is optimized for rolling resistance. For this purpose Falken has tailored the tires to the Passat’s specifications.
“The ZIEX ZE914A is an excellent tire and a great match for Volkswagen’s new midsize flagship vehicle. Both the saloon and variant models of the Passat will be fitted with the Falken ZE914A and Ecorun in future,” explained Christian Stolting, key account manager OE at Falken Tyre Europe GmbH. “We’re delighted at Volkswagen’s decision to extend Falken’s role as OEM tire supplier to the new Passat in addition to the Volkswagen up! and Polo.
