Toyota Motor Corporation’s new Prius hybrid is to come equipped with Bridgestone Ecopia and Turanza tires.
The Ecopia tires are designed to achieve low rolling resistance for improved fuel efficiency. They were first installed on electric vehicles in 1991, and Bridgestone now offers a complete product line-up for the Ecopia brand that includes sizes for a wide range of automobiles.
The Turanza tires, meanwhile, are said to provide high levels of comfort and performance on long drives.
