Robert Tweddle has selected the Kumho KMA12 in size 385/65 R22.5 for fitment on its Renault haulage trucks. The tire was found to outperform all the competition including Michelin, Bridgestone, GT Radial, Hankook and Double Coins, and lasted up to a year before requiring replacement, compared with some products that were removed after just three months and even premium ones, which lasted only seven months.
Robert Tweddle operates a fleet of 16 vehicles and can also call on low-loader trailers and chip liners when required. Company director Daniel Tweddle commented, “The Kumho KMA12 is a good, reliable product. It meets all our requirements and performs very well against the available competition. There are proven savings, not only in regard to the purchase price but overall running costs too.”
