Cold Jet is to introduce its new mold cleaning technology at Tire Technology Expo 2016, which will take place on February 16-18, 2016, in Hanover, Germany.
Without the restrictions of dry ice media (block, pellets, nuggets), Cold Jet’s patented dry ice MicroParticle technology, in combination with its SureFlow technology, ensures that more ice particles enter the air stream and strike the surface per second than traditional cleaning methods. This provides better, more precise cleaning.
According to the company, not only is this a much faster cleaning process, but it is also quieter too, as the micro particles produce less noise then pellets do. These micro particles are also able to reach areas which pellets and conventional methods cannot, for a more flexible clean. As less power and kinetic energy are needed to accelerate the particles, the process significantly reduces dry ice and compressed air consumption, for a more economical clean.
The system is easy to use, safe and environmentally responsible, with automated or manual cleaning solutions that can be easily implemented in the running process.
