Nexen Tire is to supply Renault and Smart with its N’blue Premium tire for the Renault Twingo and the Smart Forfour, which were co-developed by Renault and Daimler.
The tread of the N’blue Premium has three continuous center ribs for directional driving stability, and a dual kerf design that provides enhanced block stiffness for improved longevity. It also features a five pitch sequence layout, which was optimized using virtual simulation, and is designed to reduce noise.
A spokesperson at Nexen Tire, said, “The consecutive supplies of its original equipment tires to leading global car manufacturers proves that Nexen Tire’s outstanding products and performance-driven technology are well recognized. As much as supplies of original equipment tires has a positive effect in the replacement equipment tire market, we plan to raise greater brand awareness and strengthen our market positioning through expanding supplies of original equipment tires to global car manufacturers.”
