At this year’s Geneva Motor Show, Pirelli took the opportunity to highlight its latest OE fitment deals on several vehicles debuting at the show. That includes the Audi Q7, which is making its European debut, the restyled Q3, as well as the Volvo XC90 and BMW X5M and X6M. All are shod with Pirelli Scorpion (Verde or All Season) or P Zero tires. Meanwhile the new Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce (pictured) is also supplied exclusively with P Zero Corsa rubber from Pirelli.
Pirelli also recently revealed details of its Seal Inside technology, which enables drivers to continue a journey if a puncture occurs without a loss of tire pressure, even in the event of a puncture up to 4mm. A sealing agent inside the tire solidifes around the foreign object and once the object is removed, it plugs the hole to prevent air escaping. The Volkswagen Touran, which made its debut at Geneva Motor Show, will be equipped with Cinturato All Season rubber. More on the Cinturato All Season tire here.
