Barum has introduced its new 200 R series truck and bus tires, which offer high quality at an affordable price. The BF 200 R steering axle tire and BD 200 R drive axle tire are optimized for both high mileage and consistent safety due to the enhanced composition of the rubber compound and the redesigned pattern on the tread.
A stable casing forms the basis for both tires in the new Barum 200 R series, which is particularly durable thanks to the reinforced steel cord beads. The special liner prevents loss of compressed air and combined with the re-groovable tread also contributes to a long service life. All Barum tires in the series feature a retreadable casing that extends the service life of the tire while also increasing efficiency within the fleet.
Both products benefit from a redesigned tread geometry in the tread layer, which has considerably increased the mileage capability. The new tread compound guarantees safe handling and driving behavior in the long term, even on wet roads.
