Apollo Tyres has introduced 54 new size options for the Vredestein Ultrac Pro UUHP summer tire range, which has been engineered for hypercars, sports cars and high-performance saloons and SUVs. The new size options are suitable for wheel rims from 18in to 22in. Existing Ultrac Pro options are suitable for wheel rims as large as 24in.
Strong demand for the Ultrac Pro’s initial production run has prompted the development of the new sizes, ensuring compatibility with an even wider range of performance-focused vehicles.
The tire features a unique asymmetrical sidewall design specially created by Italdesign, a redesigned bead area and lower sidewall area close to the rim, and an all-new compound produced by a smart mixing process using state-of-the-art polymers, fillers and performance resins.
“There has been a very positive response to our flagship performance tire following its introduction last year, and this move will ensure we are better able to meet fast-growing demand,” said Yves Pouliquen, vice president, commercial, Europe at Apollo Tyres. “The Ultrac Pro is already compatible with rims up to 24in, and we now cater for many of the most common size requirements across the UUHP category.”
