The new line of Ranger multi-terrain tires from JK Tyre is designed especially for SUVs with two applications in mind – the Ranger A/T is suited for all-terrain performance and the Ranger H/T for tarmac applications. The dual tread compound of the tires is said to provide maximum grip and control.

The Ranger series has been rigorously tested globally on various terrains and assessed for handling, grip and braking. JK Tyre claims that its Ranger AT series of tires stops within four seconds on a dry road (100-0km/h in less than four seconds) or wet road (80-0km/h in less than four seconds).
Meanwhile, the company has reported a consolidated net profit of Rs118 crore for 2015 Q1, up 113% from Rs55 crore in the corresponding quarter the previous year.
The company achieved a consolidated turnover of Rs1952 crore. On a standalone basis, JK Tyre reported a turnover of Rs1676 crore, with an operating profit of Rs260 crore, an increase of 56% over the corresponding quarter in 2014.
