Dunlop has introduced its new rubber for modern adventure bikes. Building on the success of the DunlopTrailmax TR91 tire, the TrailSmart offers high wet grip achieved through a new high silica content compound and improved off-road capabilities.
The tread of the tire features a cosecant cross groove pattern and has a higher sea ratio and optimized groove angles across the section. For decreased wear and higher mileage, the tread of the TrailSmart also has an optimized pitch number, balanced block stiffness and optimized groove width, generating an average increase in mileage of 14%.
“We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Dunlop TrailSmart tires. As Dunlop riders continue to expect adventure, these tires offer both on and off-road capabilities in a 90/10 ratio, while also delivering increased mileage and exceptional wet and dry grip,” said Andy Marfleet, marketing manager moto EMEA.
