Marangoni and Indian rubber recycling company GRP have established a joint venture that will leverage the strengths of each company to carry out commercial vehicle tire retreading in India, providing huge environmental benefits to the country.
Through the partnership, Marangoni’s spliceless retread, Ringtread, which is said to deliver high mileage and improved grip, will be introduced to the Indian market for the first time.
As part of the plans, a pan-Indian network of tire retreaders will be established that will have Marangoni equipment, a standardized retreading process put in place, high quality material sourced through the joint venture and professional training in retreading processes and fleet solutions.
