Linglong Tire has entered into a strategic deal with its material supplier SI Group (Shanghai) Co Ltd, a subsidiary of US-based chemical intermediates manufacturer SI Group.
“Research and innovation in materials are keys to increasing the performance of tires while maintaining the advantage of comparatively low priced tires,” said Wang Feng, president of Linglong Tire Co Ltd. “As a world first-class resin material supplier, SI is Linglong’s perfect partner in material supply.
Added Yao Lihong, sales director of SI for the Asia Pacific, “Besides continuing to supply quality materials, SI will also deepen cooperation with Linglong in technological research.” This will help Linglong to achieve its aim of becoming one of the world’s top 10 tire manufacturers.
