The new Conti Hybrid HT3 385/55 R22.5 trailer tire is designed for combined use on regional roads and highways. The tire is said to offer high levels of mileage and fuel efficiency as well as wet grip with a B-rating for both fuel efficiency and wet grip on the EU label.
The advanced tread compound provides high mileage while the optimal combination of the rubber compound in the tread, the unique sidewall design and an improved groove geometry all help to reduce fuel consumption by 6% over the predecessor.
As with all Conti’s hybrid trailer tires, the new HS3 can also be retreaded. Newly introduced regrooving indicators in the tread profile make it easier to perform regrooving properly in order to achieve additional mileage with minimal rolling resistance.
