Hankook Tire has further expanded its original equipment portfolio in the heavy commercial vehicle and medium duty segment as part of its existing OE agreements for Mercedes-Benz Trucks. The updated selection includes the e-cube MAX AL10+ and DL10+ as well as the SmartFlex AH31 and DH31. Hankook will also provide multiple options for 22.5in tires, the best-selling TBR tire size in Europe.
The tread of the e-cube MAX AL10+ features linear grooves with waved walls to prevent uneven wear. The improved tread compound and high load index of the AL10+ increase fuel efficiency and load capacity. The e-cube MAX DL10+ offers drivers high levels of traction with its three-dimensional kerfs as well as long mileage performance. Both of these patterns will be supplied in three sizes 315/80 R22.5, 315/70 R22.5 and 315/60 R22.5.
The hybrid line SmartFlex AH31 is an all-season TBR tire well-suited for variable road conditions. It is optimized for even wear and long mileage performance with significantly lower rolling resistance. The SmartFlex DH31 features technology which is said to provide excellent traction in a number of different operating conditions including regional, long-haul and winter conditions.
The SmartFlex AH31 and SmartFlex DH31 will be available in three sizes, the 315/80 R22.5, 315/70 R22.5 and 295/80 R22.5 for the new Actros.
