The GT Radial GDR638 (pictured) drive axle tire was recently launched by Giti Tire. It is specifically designed for medium-sized trucks and buses and features a new pattern that has four longitudinal grooves to provide good traction and braking with improved vehicle stability and driver comfort, while a new casing and footprint design delivers regular wear with high-mileage potential. It will initially be available in 245/70 R17.5 and 235/75 R17.5, with seven further sizes due before the end of the year.
Giti Tire has also launched its GSW226 high traction steer axle tire, which is the first GT Radial product to be badged a winter product through Giti’s ‘snowflake’ branding. Its design features a wide shoulder groove to deliver optimum handling and stability, and a new advanced compound provides high mileage potential.
