Giti Tire has further strengthened its OE credentials at its Hannover-based European R&D center in Germany with two new appointments: Dr Claus Oberbeck is to serve as OE chief engineer, and Martin Wells as global account manager for German OEMs.
Oberbeck will be responsible for steering the company’s future development activities for European OEMs, while Wells is tasked with developing a key relationship to become a recognized OE partner of a leading European manufacturer across a number of defined car platforms.
This brings the number of staff in Hannover and the MIRA test facility in Nuneaton, UK to over 20, as the company continues to forge ahead with increasing OE, product planning and field engineering projects across the GT Radial, Primewell and Runway brands.
