The first TBR tires have successfully rolled off the production line at Linglong’s Thailand factory (LLIT), which is the company’s first overseas manufacturing base.
The facility houses a TBR production line, which will manufacture up to 1.2 billion tires a year, and a PCR production line with an annual capacity of up to 12 billion. The first PCR tire was produced there in January.
The operation of LLIT is an important milestone for Linglong’s international development, and is part of the company’s plan to tackle the emerging markets. Its geographic location was strategically selected and will be used to Linglong’s advantage.
The LLIT manufacturing platform features state-of-the-art equipment for producing eco-friendly tires with high levels of comfort and handling performance.
