Schmitz Cargobull is to introduce the Conti Hybrid HT3 as a standard offering in its truck trailer product portfolio. The tire’s tread features a newly developed compound for increased mileage compared with the predecessor, improved wet grip, as well as optimized rolling resistance. It was launched in April 2015.
Continental and Schmitz Cargobull have had a partnership for more than 30 years, during which Conti has become one of the trailer specialist’s major suppliers. Peter Matzke, head of OE truck tires at Continental, said, “We are delighted that Schmitz Cargobull has included our Conti Hybrid HT3 in its OE manufacturing portfolio, further strengthening our long-standing collaboration.”
