This year’s Tire Technology Expo Conference (rates apply) in Hannover has opened with 180+ speakers and three days of presentations, discussions and networking on the latest developments in tire manufacturing and design, scientific advances, sustainability and the global tire business.
The leading conference for the tire manufacturing industry, hundreds of delegates from across the world are in attendance to hear discussions on trends and future outlook, new materials, technologies, concepts, regulatory developments, EV tires, new research and more. Contributors include leading industry figures from Michelin, Bridgestone, Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Hankook Tire, Pirelli, the European Commission, reTyre, JLR, University of Twente and Bosch.
Sessions encompass circular economy and sustainability – chemicals, materials and recycling; advances and innovations in material and chemical technologies; modeling, simulation, testing and analysis; global tire industry – outlook and challenges; and advances in manufacturing, including AI, Industry 4.0 and sustainability.
Tire Technology Expo has also added three new streams for 2024: understanding and mitigating tire road wear particulates; smart tires – innovation and ecosystem; and physical testing and quality assurance. A special panel discussion on Day 2, ‘Building a digital world for tires’, will feature Goodyear, Cerebrum Sensor Technologies, Polyn Technology and Dynamon, to explore how data can be used.
