At Tire Technology Expo 2017 Wikov will showcase the latest product in its planetary gearbox range, which is designed to save space, weight and costs in mixing, during rubber and tire production.
In 2014, the company launched its planetary gearbox with flexible-pin technology for the most demanding heavy duty applications in the compounding process. Now, Wilkov has developed a new range of planetary gearboxes for use across mixing applications, each saving space, weight and energy consumption costs.
The latest edition to this flexible-pin technology range is the Orbi-fleX planetary gearbox series. This modular series extends the usage of planetary gear units to further applications in the rubber industry, significantly saving space and increasing the efficiency of the drive.
Also on show will be Wikov’s condition monitoring system WiGuard. This system is used as a preventive and diagnostic tool to protect the gearbox and drive against fatal failures, leading to significant savings in maintenance costs.
Experts will be on hand at booth 6040 to discuss the system further. The show takes place at Deutsche Messe, Hannover, Germany, on February 14-16.
