Vipal Rubber has revealed a new tread, the VT570. Designed to meet specific needs in theĀ EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) market, it has been designed with rotational direction for improved traction powerĀ in the mixed segment (on- and off-road). VT570 is well suited for vehicles that operate in varied terrains, including paved and non-paved streets and roads. It can be used in transportation for civil construction, garbage collection and agricultural activities, for example.
The tread blocks are designed to promote torque distribution and maximize mileage performance, while the compound has been developed to offer greater resistance to cutting and chipping, balancing this with greater durability and useful life.Ā
Ā āThe VT570 fits well into our current portfolio of designs for application in our market,ā said Gilson Dugno, international sales manager for Vipal Rubber.Ā
The product is available in three widths (240mm, 250mm and 260mm), making the tread suitable for the dimensions of most tires used in these operations. The new tread also has grooves designed to provide self-cleaning and a center designed with reinforcements that increase protection to the casing.Ā
