Marangoni is expanding its market reach in the Nordic countries through partnerships with two of the major retreaders in the region: Lujakumi and Gummiservice Rade. Lujakumi has used Marangoni’s Ringtread system for a year, Gummiservice Rade for three years.
Under the new agreement, the two Ringtread network members will become distributors of Marangoni’s OTR retreads, giving the company more access to the earthmoving and industrial handling sectors.
Lujakumi is a growing tire retreader based in Pori, Finland. It was founded in 1954 and originally relied upon a hot cure retread process. The company switched to a precure process in 1968 and, since 2017, it has been using Marangoni’s technology.
Gummiservice was established in Southern Norway in 1967 and began retreading of TBR tires in 1986, becoming a major player in the region specializing in the precure process.
The company integrated Marangoni’s Ringtread in its product range in 2015. It was recently acquired by Marangoni Retreading Systems Deutschland.
Lujakumi is a member of the Point S network and operates three tire shops, strategically located in the region. Gummiservice has four outlets in Norway.
