TRM and Carl Zeiss Optotechnik have entered a partnership that will see Zeiss shearography systems added to TRM’s portfolio. Zeiss will also train TRM’s technical staff on how to use intact machines, enabling TRM to offer aftersales services to its shearography customers.
Both companies will cooperate on a non-exclusive basis in various retread markets in the EMEA, including Russia, and South America.
Beyond sales and service of shearography systems, both companies plan to explore possible synergies in the development of new solutions.
Carl Zeiss Optotechnik, based in Neubeuern, Germany, is a recognized producer and supplier of optical measuring and inspection technology. TRM, located in Trento, Italy, specializes in the design and manufacturing of machines and production lines for tire retreading.
