Retreading specialist Vipal Rubber has announced the release of its new VT250 tread, which is optimized for mud and snow use. The company says the tread’s compound is formulated specifically for low-temperature use, and the tread pattern is directional and designed to maximize self-cleaning.
It also features the company’s Eye Control wear indicator, which Vipal says makes it possible for users to identify anomalies in alignment, balance and geometry as well as indicating when the tread has reached the end of its service life.
Gabriel Fuma, commercial manager of Vipal NAFTA, said, “The VT250 has everything to become a reference when it comes to tread for severe snow conditions because of its advantages, which will easily be perceived by the market, as they match what the fleets need. The product was designed to serve fleets in the northern US states and Canada in the harsh winter, so installation is recommended immediately before winter.”
