Oliver Rubber, a retread rubber company, has released its latest drive position retread, the Vantage Max Drive II.
The Vantage Max Drive II meets current SmartWay requirements for line-haul and regional applications and benefits from 26% more tread depth than its predecessor, the Vantage Max Drive. The retread has been designed using the company’s own rubber compounding to deliver improved mileage performance and enhanced fuel savings.
The tire also features Oliver Rubber’s VDI (Visual Depth Indicator) plus feature, which enables tire users to identify tread pull points and helps resist the retention of road debris.
The Vantage Max Drive II tread will be available in five sizes: 210, 220, 230, 240 and 250.
“The Vantage Max Drive II tread demonstrates Oliver Rubber’s continued investment in proven quality,” said Jaye Young, B2B on-road marketing director at Michelin North America. “Since 1912, Oliver and its family of dealers have proudly sold and serviced top-quality, American-made retreads you can trust to keep your trucks moving. We stand behind our retreads so you can stand behind your business.”
