Goodyear has selected Felix Giorgettu & AG Real Estate as its partner in the development of the new facilities at the Luxembourg Automotive Campus while Assar Universum Architect has been chosen to design the building.
The new building will feature a gross leasable area of 16,000m2 and will accommodate Goodyear’s global innovation center as well as regional and global functions currently based in Luxembourg. Upon completion in 2020, it will be home to approximately 1,100 employees.
The building is designed to nurture connectivity and collaboration between teams and create an open, innovative and inspiring working environment. It will house a restaurant, gym and event center for product launches, media events and exhibitions.
“Moving to the new state-of-the art facilities at the Luxembourg Automotive Campus will be an important milestone for Goodyear. It will further accelerate Goodyear’s contribution to future mobility solutions by developing and delivering smart products and services that anticipate customers’ and consumers’ needs in an evolving mobility ecosystem,” said Carlos Cipollitti, VP for EMEA product development, Goodyear.
