The RY01C tires from Yokohama are now being supplied as the original equipment for the latest model of the eCanter, an all-electric light-duty truck from the Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation.
Yokohama Rubber is supplying the tires in a size 205/70R17.5 115/113N LT, and the agreement marks the first time that the tire manufacturer has supplied its truck and bus tires as the original equipment for an EV.
During development of the standard rib RY01C, Yokohama focused on producing a tire that benefitted from good levels of wear resistance as well as a low rolling resistance and wet weather performance.
