German car maker Volkswagen has selected the all-season Apollo Vredestein Quatrac 5 and Vredestein Ultrac Satin summer tire as original equipment on the new Touareg in Europe.
The Vredestein Ultrac Satin will be fitted in size 255/60 R18 108W. With a low rolling resistance, a unique traction-enhancing resin and z‑shaped grooves in the tread of the tire give high grip and good handling on wet roads.
The Vredestein Quatrac 5 will be fitted to the SUV is size 255/60 R18 108V. It is designed to give high grip on bends and fast acceleration, even on wet surfaces.
