Yokohama will supply its Advan Sport EV tires as original equipment for the new Onvo L60 SUV launched by Chinese EV manufacturer Nio. The SUV’s tire size is 245/50R19 101V.
The Advan Sport EV is an ultra-high-performance summer tire for premium EVs. The Advan Sport EV was developed based on the Advan Sport V107 to meet the needs of EVs. Yokohama uses a compound proven to reduce tire rolling resistance and a tread pattern that enhances drainage to improve wet performance. The sidewall of the Advan Sport EV bears Yokohama Rubber’s proprietary E+ mark to indicate that it has special qualities suitable for electrified vehicles.
The Onvo L60 is a mid-size smart electric SUV designed for families with a range of over 1,000 km on a single charge. It is the first model from Nio’s Onvo sub-brand.
