Nexen Tire has announced that it is supplying original equipment (OE) tires for the new model in Hyundai’s flagship SUV range, the Palisade. The SUV will be fitted from factory with the Nexen N’Fera Supreme S, an all-season tire designed for high-performance and premium vehicles.
The tires use advanced technologies such as AI to enhance ride comfort and performance. In particular, the tire features an AI-driven big data noise reduction tread pattern design that promises to reduce road noise and vibrations to ensure a comfortable driving experience.
To improve grip, load distribution technologies and a 4D compound were used. Nexen says this enhances driving performance by delivering great stability over long distances and at high speeds while minimizing driver fatigue.
To offer even better performance even when the tire is 50% worn, pattern shape retention technology has also been used. Additionally, an aerodynamic sidewall design has been incorporated to reduce air resistance.
Nexen Tire has been continuously expanding its collaboration with global auto makers, which has “helped it increase brand recognition in the global market”, the company said.
