Yokohama Rubber has announced that its Geolandar G94 tires are now being supplied as original equipment (OE) for Mitsubishi Motors Corporation’s Pajero Sport mid-size SUV. The Pajero Sport, introduced in Thailand in March 2024, is being fitted with 265/60R18 110H size tires.
The Geolandar G94 is an all-terrain SUV tire designed to provide utility performance across various road surfaces. The company says its tread rubber and profile have been specifically tuned to enhance durability, making it capable of withstanding harsh environments. Additionally, the tire aims to reduce exterior noise while maintaining low rolling resistance and providing secure steering stability.
The Pajero features the new 4N16 engine, which is designed for superior driving performance, better fuel efficiency and enhanced controllability across all terrains, facilitated by the Super Select 4WD-II system. Safety features have also been upgraded throughout the vehicle, and the interior has been redesigned with a new black-burgundy color scheme, adding a sporty and premium feel.
