The Agrixtra range of agricultural tires from Maxam Tire Europe has been approved for use on selected New Holland T5, T6 and T7 SWB and LWB tractors.
A global supply agreement will see Maxam providing Agrixtra tires to New Holland Agriculture. Gaining approval from an agricultural equipment manufacturer is a major milestone for the tire manufacturer and its product portfolio.
Engineered to provide a high level of performance on the road and in the field, Maxam’s radial Agrixtra tires deliver improved traction and stability and reduced slip. The tires benefit from a 45° lug design that ensures they have the best profile for traction; minimal vibration is felt because of constant lug contact. This stability results in improved comfort for vehicle operators, better handling and increased durability. A self-cleaning tread design and a high carrying capacity make the product range suitable for an array of operations including heavy goods transportation and plowing.
The tires have been approved in 27 sizes in the 85, 70, 65 and XL series. Certain models of New Holland tractors can now be purchased with Maxam’s Agrixtra radial tires ranging from 24-42in in diameter.
“The homologation, approval and commercialization of our radial agricultural tires is a significant step in the evolution of the Maxam brand as a long-term supplier to CNH Industrial and New Holland Agriculture,” commented Kevin Buckley, OE sales director at Maxam Europe.
