Continental has secured OE fitment for Maserati’s Grecale SUV, which will roll off production lines on CrossContact tires. The tire maker also announced that its EcoContact 6 has been approved as original equipment. Worldwide approvals across the two tires cover 19in, 20in and 21 in sizes.
Conti’s CrossContact series has been developed for good handling qualities on- and off-road, and has received worldwide OE approval for the CrossContact LX Sport in 19in and the CrossContact RX in 21in. The EcoContact 6 has been approved in 20in. The EcoContact tire is designed for energy-saving and noise-optimized driving, making it suited to the hybrid version of the SUV.
The CrossContact series offers short braking distances on dry and wet roads, effective drive, and features a reinforced sidewall to protect against damage.
