Hankook has been selected as an original equipment supplier for the 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line. The SUV will be equipped with Ventus S1 noble 2 [pattern H452] in two sizes: 255/45 R19 H and 255/40 R20 V XL.
The Ventus S1 noble 2 is an all-season, ultra-high-performance tire that is said to provide good handling and comfort, low rolling resistance, and low noise.
Tailored for the R-Line to give sporty handling to match the vehicle, Hankook engineers also made sure that comfort and durability have not been neglected, despite the design focus on high-grip and precise handling.
Hankook and Volkswagen’s relationship dates back to 2001 when the tire maker began producing tires for the Jetta. In 2003, the Hankook was selected as an original equipment supplier for the Polo, too, and later for some of the auto maker’s other models including the Up, Beetle, Golf and Passat.
