Brabus has selected Continental’s ultra-high-performance SportContact 7 tire for the new Rocket GTS – the brand’s first supercar based on the Mercedes SL with a shooting brake body.
Continental will supply 275/35 ZR 21 tires for the front axle and 335/25 ZR 22 tires for the rear axle. The Brabus Monoblock P Platinum Edition wheels were specially designed for this 2+2-seater with five spokes and central locking mechanism.
The Continental SportContact 7 tires help put down a total of 1,000hp/735kW with 0-100km/h coming up in just 2.6 seconds. The 4.5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine also delivers a colossal 1,820Nm with an electrically limited top speed of 317km/h.
The Brabus 930 and the Brabus Rocket 1000 “1 of 25” are already equipped with the SportContact 7 to meet performance requirements. The SportContact 7 has proved its mettle, both in the aftermarket and as original equipment.
