The 2023 BMW X1 SUV will be supplied with Continental’s EcoContact 6 Q tires in 18in, 19in and 20in diameters.
The EcoContact 6 Q has been produced using a special rubber compound which reduces energy absorption through the tire when the vehicle is moving. As a result, friction is reduced to support economical driving. In addition to the friction-reducing compound, Continental has also optimized the EcoContact 6 Q’s tread to reduce rolling noise heard inside the cabin. The tire also delivers a long service life and excellent handling attributes.
To suit BMW X1s used in colder winter climates, customers can select the Continental WinterContact TS 860 S. which delivers precise handling characteristics on both dry and snow-covered surfaces.
The EcoContact 6 Q has been approved for fitment to the BMW X1 in sizes, 225/55 R18 102Y XL, 245/45 R19 102Y XL and 245/40 R20 99Y XL. Additionally, the WinterContact TS 860 S will be fitted in sizes 205/65 R17 100H XL, 205/60 R18 99H XL, 225/55 R18 102H XL and 245/45 R19 102H XL.
