Bridgestone will supply Battlax Racing Street RS11 as original equipment for Yamaha’s new supersport YZF-R9. The tires will be supplied for use on motorcycles sold in Japan and Europe.

Battlax Racing Street RS11 tires for the YZF-R9 are dantotsu products that apply technologies cultivated through motorsports activities to commercial products. These tires have patterns that enhance contact patch rigidity and optimize the tread’s rigidity balance, increasing the contact area when the motorcycle tilts. This results in high cornering grip performance and sharp handling, especially in dry conditions. Bridgestone hopes to refine its technology in extreme conditions, evolving and connecting this innovation to the development of tires for the future.
