Apollo Tyres has introduced a new all-weather tire for high-performance cars and SUVs, the Vredestein Quatrac Pro+.
Available in North America, the Vredestein Quatrac Pro+ is designed to provide grip on wet roads and in snowy conditions. According to Apollo, the tire provides a 5% improved grip on snow and reduces rolling resistance by 5% compared to the Quatrac Pro.
The tire features a tread design consisting of wider longitudinal grooves that enable water evacuation, while sipes across the center of the tread are designed to prevent aquaplaning. The tire also introduces new compounds made from new-generation polymers, and features a high proportion of silica and resin, the company says.
The tire is available in 108 sizes for 17in to 22in wheel rims.
