The P ZERO Race TT clincher tire has been released by Pirelli, designed to suit the requirements of professional cyclists and amateurs alike.
Produced at the manufacturer’s renovated plant in Bollate, Milan, Italy, the tire is the successor to the P Zero Velo TT.
Described as the ‘smoothest and lightest clincher tire of the entire P Zero Race range’, the Race TT features a tread that is based on the SmartEVO compound, which provides a low rolling resistance, excellent grip and a high level of control at speed.
The P Zero Race TT’s tread is not slick and has been designed to enhance driveability and cornering control. The tire is 5% lighter than its predecessor and features a rolling resistance that is 15% lower.
The tire’s 120 TPI nylon Lite casing features no additional protections and has been optimized by Pirelli’s R&D department to deliver the lowest possible rolling resistance.
The clincher tire is already available in sizes 26-622 and 28-622 and completes Pirelli’s racing tire range.
