The all-new Cinturato Gravel RC bicycle tire has been released by Pirelli – a specialist racing version of the manufacturer’s Cinturato Gravel tires.
Designed for use by athletes that require fluidity and speed on straights and maximum grip in turns, the tubeless-ready tire is suitable for use in a multitude of gravel competitions which take place on road, gravel and uneven terrains.
Featuring a specially developed tread pattern, the latest Cinturato Gravel RC benefits from a tall profile and widely spaced knobs on the sidewalls and low profile and compact tread spacing in the central area, a design aspect borrowed from Pirelli’s competition MTB tire range.
The tire utilizes Pirelli’s high-performance SpeedGRIP compound which offers a high level of chemical grip on wet surfaces, a reduction in rolling resistance similar to that of a pure road tire, and durability comparable to the manufacturer’s MTB SmartGRIP compound. To enhance durability further, the Cinturato Gravel RC also has a reinforced casing made of 60TPI nylon which is protected by a belt from bead to bead. Called TechWALL Gravel, the solution adds a further layer of reinforcement to protect against damaging attacks without compromising rolling resistance.
At present, the Cinturato Gravel RC tire is available in sizes 35-622, 40-622 and 45-622, in a black version and a classic version with para sidewalls.
