Petlas Tire Corporation has launched the NZ310 trailer tire, which has been engineered to meet the demands of both regional and long-haul applications, combining advanced durability with fuel-efficient performance.
The NZ310 trailer tire has been designed with a focus on endurance, reliability and efficiency. It features a unique tread design that minimizes rolling resistance. This enables fleet operators to reduce fuel consumption, resulting in lower operational costs. The tire also features robust five-steel-belt construction for even pressure distribution, reducing the risk of irregular wear increasing tire life.
The NZ310’s circumferential grooves are crafted to effectively channel water away, for safety on wet roads. This design, combined with optimized shoulder sipes for heat management, enables the Petlas NZ310 to “maintain high performance under heavy loads and demanding road conditions”, the tire maker says.
The tires are on sale and available in 385/65 R22.5 size initially.
