Nexen Tire has introduced a new summer tire. The Nexen N blue S has been engineered to enhance wet and dry performance with the additional benefit of reduced braking distance compared with the outgoing model.
According to Nexen, the tire’s wet grip has been reinforced by the inclusion of highly dispersed silica that improves road contact and traction on slippery surfaces. Test results reveal that the new N blue S achieves an 11% improvement in wet braking distance compared with its predecessor.
Nexen has used an optimized structural design that reduces road noise and improves driving stability for a controlled driving experience. The tread compound has been formulated with hydrophilic fillers and microstructure-controlled polymers for dry and wet grip. This innovative material composition not only enhances traction but also contributes to lower rolling resistance.
The tire’s optimized design also minimizes fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, providing an eco-friendly solution for environmentally conscious drivers. It is rated A/A for rolling resistance and wet grip, highlighting its energy efficiency. The N blue S summer tire is available in 58 sizes, making it compatible with a wide range of vehicles.
