Nexen has added to its tire line-up with several new additions, including a winter tire for passenger cars and an off-road tire.
“With the expansion of our tire program, we continue firmly on growth, particularly in the European market,” said John Bosco Kim, chief of marketing and sales, Nexen Tire Europe. “We have strengthened the development of our SUV business and decided to make our offer in this area more attractive.”
The Roadian AT 4X4 is an all-terrain tire developed to meet the stringent noise regulations in the EU. It features an optimized pattern, designed to give good performance on dry, wet, snowy and icy surfaces. The tire is said to have excellent off-road performance, thanks to the dual-block tread design that prevents debris build-up and self-cleanses the tread blocks for strong grip.
The Winguard Snow G3, meanwhile, is a HP winter tire designed for usage in snow and with improved dry and wet performance over its predecessor. It is said to offer a high level of comfort and durability, too. A new silica compound ensures performance on snowy and wet surfaces, and a directional pattern design with a high number of sipes maximizes water drainage and snow performance.
