The all-new Toyo Proxes Sport summer tire is now available to purchase in the USA. The tread of the Proxes Sport is said to have a good connection to the road thanks to its large contact area, improved grip, and more refined handling characteristics. This has been achieved through a combination of Toyo’s Nano Balance technology, and its unique tread design, which works in both wet and dry conditions.
The Nano Balance technology gives more precisely arranged molecules in the tread compound of the tire. The result is a high-grip silica tread compound geared toward good handling and a high level of grip.
The specially developed tread of the Proxes Sport has a dynamic taper design that grips the road for improved contact and handling, while also enhancing wet and dry braking. An improved rib design creates more even contact pressure. For vehicles running with widths of 285 and above, the Proxes Sport has an additional center rib to help maintain optimum contact with the road.

Available in nearly 70 sizes, fitting 17in to 20in wheels, Proxes Sport replaces the Proxes 1 and Proxes T1 Sport in the current Toyo Tires line-up. The tire is supplied with a 25,000-mile warranty.
