Mitas (a Group Trelleborg brand) has launched a new tread pattern for its adventure range. The Enduro Trail-ADV has been designed for 70% use on-road and 30% off-road.
Developed to deliver high-speed road and off-road performance in all weather scenarios, the latest tire features Mitas’s Multi-Compound Tread Technology to help deliver high mileage over the tire’s service life and grip in corners when riding in low temperatures. Furthermore, the high silica content within the tread claims to deliver excellent wet grip.
Mitas has designed the Enduro Trail-ADV with a specialist construction and irregular geometry of the longitudinal tread pattern to provide straight-line stability, smooth handling and a low level of road noise for riders.
The tire will be available in May 2023 in two sizes: 120/70ZR19 60W TL/TT for the front and 170/60ZR17 72W TL/TT for the rear. The manufacturer plans to add more sizes to the line-up soon.
“The new Enduro Trail-ADV is specially designed for modern adventure bikes and fills the 70/30 gap in our already extensive adventure tire range,” explained Gustavo Pinto Teixeira, vice president of two wheels and specialty tires at Trelleborg Wheel Systems. “The Enduro Trail-ADV features our latest technical innovations and meets the unique demands of modern adventure riders.”
