To provide an increased amount of power for tractor pulling applications, manufacturer Mitas has announced the launch of a new size of the specifically developed PowerPull 01 competition tire.
The 24.5-32 size of the latest PowerPull 01 is one of the most widely used sizes in competition level tractor pulling. Designed specifically for rear-wheel-drive, high-horsepower applications, the tire has a completely slick contact patch, enabling users to carve their own tread to suit different surfaces.
Having launched a 30.5L-32 version in 2016, the latest iteration is the second PowerPull 01 tire released by the manufacturer.
To date, Mitas has worked with several teams that utilize the PowerPull 01 tires in competition and a number of other pulling stables. The tire manufacturer has also been a partner of the European Tractor Pulling Committee since 2014.
“Tractor pulling is an extreme sport that really puts tires to the test. Producing the right tires is a demanding job, and Mitas is right here to keep on supporting all our customers worldwide in this special sport,” explained Pavel Kott, product manager, Mitas agricultural tires.
“With two new sizes developed, we can cover the most popular competition-level tractors and can’t wait to see how well they perform in upcoming showdowns.”
