Magna Tyres Group has developed and launched the Magna 24R20.5 AG24, a flotation tire for agri trucks and trailers.
The new tire size is based on the well-known OBO Transport HD and the result is, according to Magna, “the ultimate all-rounder for agri trucks and trailers”.
Long, robust, 24mm high cleats in the center, supported by the premium rubber compound, ensure highest wear resistance. Transversely positioned and rounded cleats in the shoulder optimize self-cleaning and improve rolling under severe conditions.
Radial construction offers optimized load performance, operator comfort and low rolling resistance, which is not only beneficial for low fuel consumption, but also ensures that tread wear is minimal.
The lowest cost per operating hour of this unique AG24 is achieved by the robust radial carcass. The tire can carry 7,500kg at 65km/h (40mph) and there is little risk of costly downtime.
The carcass is also suitable for retreading and can last at least a second tire life, perhaps even a third. Magna guarantees the buyback of the carcass after the first successful tire life.
