Four new tires have been added by Ironman Tires to its I-Series Gen 2 tire line-up. The new tires are designed to be cost-efficient and to meet the demands of the trucking industry.
The models are the I-31M, I-42W, I-28D and the I-52A. All these tires come with a warranty of up to six years. The I-31M is an all-position tire for on- and off-highway use with deep 17.46mm tread depth and heat-resistant compound for better fuel efficiency. These tires also feature stone ejectors and a curb guard to protect the sidewall.
The I-42W is more suited for heavy loads with deep treads, broad width and large block patterns. It also features a curb guard and optimal tire bars and semi-open shoulder design to improve drainage and traction in off-road conditions.
Built for long haulers, the I-28D is designed to reduce rolling resistance with advanced compounds while also balancing durability and traction. Like the I-31M, these tires feature a 22.23mm tread depth along with zigzag sipes and grooves for improved traction in demanding weather conditions. A solid closed shoulder also ensures rigidity and stability for extended hauls.
The I-52A is an all-position tire for regional (rp) environments, developed with stop-and-start routes in mind. Like other models, the I-52A also features 17.46mm tread depth for even wear. Ironman has provided a wavy design for outer grooves to enhance tear resistance.
“The I-Series Gen 2 truck tire line-up marks a significant upgrade that represents the culmination of years of research and development that delivers confident performance and value to our customers,” said Marshall Gillespie, director, proprietary brand commercial merchandising for Ironman Tires.
